To Parents, Students and Friends of Skunkworks Dance,
We were hoping to keep our in-person classes open to provide some sense of normalcy for our students; however in light of the developments with COVID-19, we have decided at Skunkworks Dance to pause all the in-person aspects of our studio beginning Friday, March 13 through March 29 (As a reminder, Skunkworks Dance’s spring break is from March 23-29.). We are following the recommendations and precedent set by both the local schools and Village of Wilmette.
We are pleased to share that we are currently creating innovative, interactive and fun remote at-home dance training options that will keep students moving and engaged through this area-wide shutdown. E-learning options will be available for our registered students soon. When more information is available, we will keep you informed.
As I shared with many of our students this week, in these most uncertain times what provides us hope is our connection to each other, art and dance. The health, safety and welfare of our community is truly important to us. As we deal with the ever changing landscape of life, Skunkworks will be there to offer a new way of training until we are able to return to the studio.
We thank you for your continued support. Updated information on remote learning to come soon!
